Robert K Bench
Mr. Bench serves as the CEO and a director of BayHill Capital Corporation. Mr. Bench is an experienced professional with over 26 years in various senior management and executive positions in start-up enterprises and public companies following four years as a certified public account-ant with KPMG Peat Marwick. He has assisted a number of companies in their early start-up years and completed several initial public offerings. Prior to founding BayHill Group Mr. Bench was CFO of Innuity (INNU) and The SCO Group (SCOX), he has served in senior management positions for West-Wind, Webmiles, Sento (SNTO), CerProbe (CRPB), Fresh Technologies, Clyde Digital, and NP Energy (NPEE). In addition, Mr. Bench has served on the Board of Directors of private and public companies. He has assisted both private and public companies raise over $150 million for start-up and growth capital through private, public, and venture offerings. He has been responsible for a number of business combinations and successfully reorganized several financially distressed companies. He has spent two years on international assignments and led the restructure of worldwide operations following the merger of two international companies. Mr. Bench has been a co-founder and is a private investor in a number of private and small public companies. His background includes the software, hardware, oil, and semiconductor industries. Mr. Bench is a CPA and holds a bachelor degree in accounting from Utah State University.
M. Todd Esplin
Mr. Esplin identifies and engages market opportunities that drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and new sales channels. He helps companies find and evaluate partnership and acquisition opportunities, establish new sales and distribution channels and work with external investment groups. Mr. Esplin was a co-founder and managing partner at BayHill Group where he has helped define and execute growth strategies for companies like Intercontinental Hotels Group, SCO, NextPage, Frank-lin Covey, and Innodata-Isogen. Prior to BayHill Group, Todd has served in management positions for both private and public companies such as Sandlot Corporation, 1.0 & Company, Arkona, the Baan Company, Corel Corporation, and Novations Group. Mr. Esplin has assisted companies in developing and managing relationships with investment groups. He has also executed contracts with over 40 technology and industry partners. He has developed acquisition strategies and funnels, filled sales pipelines through external partnerships, lead turn-around and business integration projects, and helped reposition both products and businesses in new markets. Mr. Esplin has co-founded and is a personal investor in several start-up companies in the software and professional services industries. He holds an MBA from George Mason University's School of Management and a bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University.
James U. Jensen
Mr. Jensen is the founder and managing partner of Columbia Third Corporation. Mr. Jensen is the Independent Board Chairman for the Wasatch Funds and has served on the board since the funds were started 18 years ago. From 1986-2004 Mr. Jensen served as Secretary and General Counsel, and, until 2001, was on the Board of Directors of NPS (a public biotech and pharmaceutical company). Mr. Jensen graduated from the University of Utah, served a Fulbright Grant in Mexico and received his J.D. and MBA degrees from Columbia University. Mr. Jensen was a law clerk to Judge David T. Lewis, the former Chief Judge of the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
Roy Banks
Mr. Banks has over 15 years of experience in the high-tech, Internet marketing and payment processing industries. As President of Authorize.Net, a leading provider of Internet Payment Processing products and services, Mr. Banks is responsible for the daily business operations as well as the strategic growth and vision for the company. In 2005 Mr. Banks was elected to the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) Board of Directors, an international trade association serving the needs of organizations offering transaction processing products/services. Mr. Banks has also served in the Department of the Navy and holds a BS in Marketing from Utah Valley State College.
John Knab
Mr. Knab is the current CEO, President, and Chairman of Phonex Broadband Corporation. Prior to Phonex, Mr. Knab served as the National Director for Verizon (Data Communication Products) from 1986 to 1989 where he directed a division comprised of over 2,700 computer and telecommunication products. Mr. Knab also served in roles as a Sr. HQ Planning Staff, Regional IT Management, Marketing Manager & Marketing Representative for IBM Corporation from 1977 to 1986. Mr. Knab is a member of the Board of Directors for the MountainWest Capital Network and earned an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and a B.A. from Brigham Young University’s College of Communications/Advertising.
John D. Thomas
Mr. Thomas serves as a director of BayHill Capital, and would serve as a member of MCC-BH. Mr. Thomas practices law, specializing in reverse takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law for a variety of small public and private companies in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany. Since May 2006, he has also been the director of the microcap division for small public company listings for MCC Global NV (FSE: IFQ2) an international financial services and investment conglomerate based in London and traded on the Geregeltermarkt of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Mr. Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of SportsNuts, Inc., a small sports management company traded on the OTC Bulletin Board in the United States. Mr. Thomas has facilitated the public flotation of numerous companies on the AIM, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and OTC markets in the United States. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Utah. |
