Geology
The acreage is prospective primarily for the Ferron Sand. There is potential from the Humbug Shale as well as CO2 potential from a Paleozoic formation. The acreage is offset to the north by Ferron Sand producing wells. 1/4 mile to the north is the Gordon Creek Field which has produced 3.8 BCF gas to date. The two wells to the north have produced 807,368 MCF gas and 1,042,756 MCF gas.
